THE DOG BLOG
Do you ever watch your favorite sports team on TV, listen to them on the radio as you go throughout your day, or read about them online or in numerous magazines and newspapers? Well I do and one thing I have found with each one is that the commentators or journalists totally lack in character; I more often than not find myself scanning the scroll bar at the bottom of the channel on sportscenter than actually listening to the bland, scripted banter within the shows themselves.
Even though I highly doubt there will be a drastic decrease in the amount of sports gossip I take in, through the multiple media outlets. I believe I have found one sports enthusiast whose extreme love of pennsylvania sporting events provides the substance which has beeen lacking in the presentation of sporting news over the last decade.
This refreshing, entertaining, and often extremely biased outlook on Pennsylvannia sporting events comes in the form of a seveteen year old boy. This local statstician goes by the name of RDOG, and has led one of the most unbelievable and heartbreaking lives. Each week I will be posting new stories about the history of RDOG and new blogs of his weekly sporting reviews so until then stay tuned.
